Workshop on cultural heritage and biodiversity as ecosystem services
As part of the training activities at the Mouriscados Demonstration Forest in the Pontevedra municipality of Mouriscados, the Galician Forestry Association is organising a day on cultural heritage and biodiversity as ecosystem services.
The programme for the session will be as follows:
5:00-5:30 p.m. Presentation of the Melhor Floresta Platform. Lurdes Barbosa, Department of Training and Support for Forestis Associates (Portugal).
5:30-6:15 p.m. Sustainable forest management and cultural heritage in private communal neighborhood forests. Xosé Covelo, Forestry Engineer, Director of the AFG.
6:45-8 pm Guided tour of the necropolis at Chan de San Tomé. Alberte Reboreda, archaeologist.
This event is free and will take place on Thursday 30 April at 5 pm at the Mouriscados Cultural Centre (Mondariz).
