Inauguration in Pontevedra of the ForestED travelling exhibition
Since it began two years ago, the project ForestED It advanced slowly, and is now drawing near to its end.
Over the past few months, the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia has been working on developing various prototypes of pieces made from wood sourced from the forests of Galicia and Catalonia.
Now the time has come to present the work developed over these two years for which the 10th of November An exhibition opens at the School of Forest Engineering in Pontevedra with the pieces elaborated in the project,
The inauguration will be followed by a Seminar on broad-leaved timber in construction in accordance with this programme.

We encourage all AFG members to attend this event, or at least to visit the exhibition, which will remain open until 15 December.
ForestED is an initiative led by the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, which includes the participation of the Forestry Consortium of Catalonia, the Centre for Forestry Science and Technology of Catalonia and the Galician Forestry Association. It is funded by the Biodiversity Foundation of the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) as part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR), funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
