AFG general assemblies in Mos
The Galician Forestry Association (AFG) convened a few weeks ago its XXXVIII General Assembly to be held at the Centro Recreativo y Cultural de Torroso, in the municipality of Mos.
That same afternoon, an extraordinary general assembly is also called to elect the Governing Board that will lead the Galicia Forestry Association for the next four years.
The deadline for submitting candidacies for the election opened, at the request of the Governing Board, on March 26 and ended today, April 16, at 12:00 a.m.
The Electoral Commission proclaimed at 13:00 today the only candidacy presented, headed by the current president, Antonio Rigueiro Rodríguez. For publicity purposes, the list of candidates' names was displayed on the notice boards of the AFG offices, as required by electoral regulations. Furthermore, the Electoral Commission considered it appropriate to also make public the names of the people who make up the candidacy also through the AFG website, which can be consulted below.
We encourage all people and entities associated with the Galician Forestry Association to participate in the two assemblies on Saturday, April 26 and share this day of celebration together.
